It is believed he has also taken photographs through the window of the house.
A number of incidents have been reported to Leicestershire Police since November, where a man has been seen looking into the window of a property on Kensington Avenue.
Officers have released an image of a man they would like to speak to following the reports.
The man has been seen usually around 5.30 am and it is believed that on some occasions he has taken photographs through the window.
The person living at the address does not know who the man is.
He is believed to be between his late 40s and early 50s and has been seen with a male dog, brown in colour and that may be a wire-haired pointer or similar.
He has not been seen outside any other properties.
Detective Constable Jasmine Freer, the investigating officer, said: “I’d like to speak to the man pictured about these incidents, as I believe he may have information that could help my investigation”.
“If you know who he is – or indeed that person is you – then please get in touch.”
