The victim was shown a fake police badge.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Police are appealing for information about an attempted robbery in St David’s way (near to odeon) last night.

The victim was assaulted and shown a fake police badge whilst the suspect tried to take his car.

Officers have confirmed it was fake as it was found on the floor after the suspect ran from the scene.

The suspect is a 40/50-year-old white male, wearing a black face covering, black jacket and had a bald head.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
