Man charged after a 20-year-old was hit in a non-stop collision in Hinckley

The charge relates to a collision in Castle Street on the 27th of August when a moped collided with a pedestrian.

A man has been charged after a non-stop collision in August 2021 in Hinckley.

The man from Wigston, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

He is due to appear before Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 9th January.

The charge relates to a collision in Castle Street on the 27th of August when a moped collided with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 20-year-old man, had serious injuries and was discharged from hospital after a number of weeks.
