A man has been charged with firearms offences following an incident in Quorn on Wednesday.
Leicestershire Police said officers were called at 12.04pm on Wednesday 11th November to a report of a man in possession of a firearm in the area of Sarson Street, Quorn.
The man was shot with rubber bullets by armed officers.
Michael Reynolds, 50, of Castledine Street, Quorn, has been charged with possession of an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an air weapon in a public place.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court today.
