A pedestrian who was involved in a serious collision in Loughborough has died in hospital.
The collision occurred just after 9.30am on Tuesday 23rd July in Ling Road and involved a white Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham where he subsequently died yesterday (Sunday 28 July).
The Ford was travelling in the Leicester bound carriageway and the pedestrian was crossing the road at the junction with Bainbridge Road when the collision occurred.
Officers from the serious collision investigation unit are continuing their investigations into the incident and asked anyone who may have been travelling along Ling Road to contact them if they have any dashcam footage or may have witnessed the incident.
