A man has died following a collision on the M1 on Sunday.
Police were called at 8am on Sunday 28th June following a report of a collision involving a red Ford Focus and grey BMW 5 Series just north of junction 20, for Lutterworth.
The driver of the focus – a man in his 60s – was taken to hospital but sadly died on Tuesday 30th June.
The BMW driver, who is also in his 60s, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing.
An investigation, led by officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is continuing and Leicestershire Police says officers are continuing to appeal for anyone who can help to come forward. This includes any motorists with dashcam footage.
