Detectives are appealing for information after an aggravated burglary in Atherstone on Monday 5th October.
A spokesperson from Warwickshire police said: "the incident occurred at around 1am in Stratton Street when offenders armed with a knife and screwdrivers tried to gain access to a house.
The occupants of the house were threatened with offenders demanding the key to their car.
The offenders failed to gain entry and left empty handed."
Detectives would like to identify a BMW that was in the area at the time and are appealing for anyone in the area with CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch.
