Daniel Tivey from Kegworth was the driver of a Vauxhall Astra that was in collision with a lorry on the M1 near Loughborough.
Police have confirmed the identity of a man who died following a collision on the M1.
Daniel Tivey, 23, of Kegworth, was the driver of a Vauxhall Astra that was in collision with an HGV.
The collision happened on the northbound carriageway near Long Whatton, close to junction 23a on 1st March.
Detective Constable Pete Davies, the investigating officer, said: "I would like anyone who saw the collision take place, or who saw either vehicle prior to the collision occurring and has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
"I am particularly keen to hear from the driver of a small, light blue Ford Fiesta-sized car."
