Krispy Kreme has highlighted Hinckley and Loughborough as two of the places affected.
Krispy Kreme has recalled its White Chocolate & Raspberry Summer 4-pack of doughnuts because it contains peanuts, which are not mentioned on the label.
Some packs have been incorrectly packed with two Reese’s doughnuts which contain peanuts.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.
The mispacked products also contain two original glaze doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme has highlighted the Hinckley, Loughborough and Swadlincote branch of Sainsbury as well as Tesco Leicester Hamilton as being affected.
No other Krispy Kreme products are affected by the issue.
On the product recall notice Krispy Kreme said they take their "responsibilities to consumers extremely seriously and always aim to ensure the highest possible standards of product safety. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused or disappointment this product recall may cause you."
