WASTE CALENDAR
- North West Leicestershire District Council no longer delivers printed waste collection calendars to households.
- They say the decision will save around £15,000 each year in costs.
- Residents can now download a calendar on the council's website or they have a small stock of printed copies available for collection from the Customer Centre on Belvoir Road in Coalville.
WEATHER
- The Met Office has implemented a yellow weather warning for wind and rain for tomorrow.
- They've said that strong winds and heavy rain could lead to some disruption and there's a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations.
- The warnings are in place until Sunday morning.
WALK AWAY
- Leicestershire Police's WALK AWAY campaign has re-launched this winter season as the night-time economy footfall increases.
- It will be increasingly visible in and around Loughborough
- Walk Away aims to help people recognise when things might get out of hand and walk away from situations.
