Businesses are being asked to check CCTV to see if they have anything that may help the investigation.
Two people arrested after a fire broke out at Echos nightclub in Loughborough on Tuesday morning have been released on police bail.
Police were called to Biggin Street just after 1.20 am (Tuesday 1 November) after two men were spotted in the area acting suspiciously.
Officers attended and identified a fire inside the nightclub and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service was called.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area during the early hours of this morning and businesses are also being asked to check CCTV to see if they have captured anything that could help the investigation.
Two men aged 40 and 44 were arrested on suspicion of arson and burglary.
They have both been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
A scene preservation was in place while the scene was examined but it has now been lifted.
