Two men have been charged following an incident on the A6 near Loughborough last week.
In a statement Leicestershire police said: "Chay Bowskill, 19, of Empingham Drive, Syston, has been charged with kidnap, grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.
"Rocco Sansome, 18, of Wanlip Lane, Birstall, has been charged with kidnap and possession of a class B drug.
"Both men have been remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 21st September.
"The charges relate to an incident on Thursday 17th September when a woman was found with life-threatening injuries on the A6 near Loughborough."
