Landlords of student properties in Loughborough are being invited to a virtual forum which will include advice and support on Covid-19 guidelines.
It's being hosted by Charnwood Borough Council and is open to anyone who has a property with students as tenants.
The event is happening on Wednesday 23rd September September at 11am and people can sign up online.
Many Loughborough University students are due to return to the town at the end of the month and the academic year at Loughborough College is already underway.
The forum will include representatives from the borough council, Loughborough University, Loughborough College, Leicestershire County Council, DASH, a joint-working initiative with local authorities, property owners and landlords, and the National Residential Landlords Association.
Councillor Paul Mercer, lead member for private housing at the Council, said: “It is important that landlords have all the necessary measures in place to help their tenants keep safe. This forum is an opportunity to receive advice and support and talk to officers and representatives from a range of organisations.
“We all need to work together to keep people safe.”
