Police have warned people travelling to Bradgate Park about parking safely after a busy bank holiday weekend.
Charnwood Police released images of cars park on country roads near to the site.
In a statement officers said: "If you're visiting Bradgate Park please bring change for the car park! Parking like this is not acceptable, obstructs the pavement, obstructs the road and is potentially very dangerous."
Officers were putting advice leaflets on to the windscreens of vehicles that were not parked in the Bradgate Park car parks.
