They've released images of the woman they would like to speak to.
Officers are continuing to investigate a rape on the canal towpath in Nuneaton and are appealing for help to identify this woman.
They would like to speak to her as a witness to the incident that took place on Tuesday 21st June.
The woman, who has long red hair, is understood to have been walking from town along Queens Road around 5.05 pm.
She then went over the Roanne Ringway and headed towards Sainsbury’s.
The woman or anyone who knows who she is can call 101 quoting incident 106 of 28 June 2022 or speak anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
