A woman has fallen from a railway bridge in Loughborough
She was taken to hospital with serious injured.
Emergency services were called at 7:42am on Sunday morning.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said:
"Police received a call at 7.42am this morning (Sunday 5 July) that a woman was on the wrong side of the railway bridge on Terry Yardley Way, Loughborough.
Officers attended the location and a short time later, the woman fell from the bridge.
She has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed while emergency services were in attendance, and it has since been reopened."
