Four local darters hope to break the Guinness World Record for the longest pairs darts marathon.
Starting today four darts players from the Bull & Bush Public House in Shepshed are taking on the challenge to break the record for the longest pairs darts marathon.
The current Guinness World Record stands at 51 hours and they plan to beat this record by playing for 60 hours.
If they complete the record attempt they will be playing darts from 9 am on Wednesday 15th June until 9 pm on Friday 17th June.
James 'Nez' Hoult (Landlord of The Bull & Bush), Kev Bryan, Bradley Cave and Dave Sloan are all taking part in the endurance test to raise money for four charities.
They have chosen Macmillan Cancer Research as their national charity and First Responders, Shepshed Food Bank, and Jakin Pregnancy Care and Counselling as local charities.
