A447 closed due to crash

Officers are asking drivers to use different routes.

 The A447 between Cadeby and the junction of Bosworth Lane has been closed because of a crash.

Leicestershire Police were called at 9.41 am to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision.

Officers are currently at the scene.

UPDATE 13:15

Three people have gone to the hospital a driver in one car and a driver and passenger in another.

A Police Spokesperson said: "None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

"Helimed did attend but they all went by land ambulance. The road remains closed while we await vehicle recovery and clear up."
