Earlier in the week flags were raised across Leicestershire to begin Armed Forces Week.

Celebrations are taking place on Saturday 24th of June to mark Armed Forces Day.

On the 19th of June, flags were raised across Leicestershire to begin Armed Forces Week.

In Loughborough, an event is being held in the Market Place between 10 am and 3 pm.

The Loughborough Army Reserve Centre, Royal British Legion and the Land Rover Club will be there and vintage vehicles will be on display.

In Hinckley, there will be an outdoor service at 11 am led by Reverend Ian Hill from Churches Together and a parade through the town centre.
