Matthew Whitehall, aged 24, of Smorrall Lane, Bedworth, has been charged with rape, making threats to kill and possession of a knife in a public place.
The alleged offences occurred at a property in Bedworth on Friday (19 January) night. Whitehall was arrested on Sunday following an armed policing operation in the town.
Whitehall was also charged with assault and criminal damage following an incident in Nuneaton on 25 December 2017.
Whitehall appeared at Warwickshire Magistrates Court today (Jan 25th) and was remanded in custody to appear at Warwickshire Crown Court on 22 February 2018.
