19 stalls have confirmed they will be at the new market.
Bedworth market is set to trial stalls in All Saints Square on Fridays starting this week on October 1st.
All traders from Bedworth and Nuneaton’s markets have been offered the opportunity to take part and 19 stalls have confirmed so far.
There will be a range of stalls selling items from clothing and footwear through to vinyl records and confectionery.
Councillor Kristofer Wilson, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council leader, said: "This trial is forming part of the wider plans to regenerate Bedworth Town Centre and restore some of the economic vitality to the town. If we always do the same thing we won’t achieve the change that Bedworth needs. I hope that if this does prove to be a success, that it will encourage a higher footfall in the town centre and give a boost to all local businesses and traders."
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will conduct a 6-month trial of the market from October 2021 to March 2022.
This scheme was part of the manifesto of the new leadership in the borough.
The covered market will be open as normal throughout the trial period.
