The popular festival will feature a large selection of vendors with food and drink stalls.

Feast Hinckley, the free to enter food and drink festival organised by the Borough Council, returns to Argents Mead in Hinckley town centre today and tomorrow from 10am-5pm each day (7th and 8th August).

As well as the refreshments, four live bands will play across the weekend and a 120ft giant inflatable assault course sponsored by Hinckley BID will be available for kids (minimum age 5) and big kids at just 50p per go along with free hooping classes.

There will also be face painting and a stilt walker, as well as stalls selling pet treats.

And of course Fosse 107 will be there all weekend!

For shelter or shade, large pagoda marquees will be set up in the Mead along with lots of extra picnic benches.

John Coward, Assistant Town Centre Manager said “After the disappointment of having to cancel this event last year along with so many other events we are looking forward to welcoming people back.

"We have taken care to put more space between stalls for this year and there will be lots of hand sanitiser on offer and of course we urge anyone feeling unwell with covid symptoms to stay at home to make the event as covid secure as we possibly can.

"It’s been really challenging this year but we hope this event will bring some much needed normality back and encourage people to visit and shop in our town.  We look forward to seeing everybody.”
