From gift wrapping to markets, there will be a range of activities taking place in Loughborough to help people get into the festive spirit over the next week.
There will be several retail markets taking place over the Christmas period including one on Christmas Eve, giving people an opportunity to grab last-minute gifts and fresh produce before the big day. The markets will take place on:
• Thursday December 19
• Friday December 20
• Saturday December 21
• Tuesday December 24 (Christmas Eve)
• Saturday December 28
• Friday January 3, 2020
• Saturday January 4, 2020
Love Loughborough will be offering a free gift-wrapping service to those who do their Christmas shopping in Loughborough on Thursday December 19 and Sunday December 22.
The team will be based in Carillon Court Shopping Centre between 10.30am-3pm and all shoppers need to do is bring along their gifts.
The annual Carols at the Carillon event will return on Christmas Eve. People are invited to take a well-earned break from shopping to enjoy a festive sing-along at the band stand in Queen’s Park at 1pm.
There will also be festive themed activities for the littles ones at Charnwood Museum on Christmas Eve. The museum will be open between 10am-2pm.
