Mahalia from Syston has been nominated in the Best British Female category.
The Brit Awards will take place on 18th February and will be shown on ITV.
Leading the way in the nominations are Lewis Capaldi who has four and Mabel received a total of three nominations, after releasing her debut album High Expectations.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Brit Awards.
The ceremony will be hosted by Jack Whitehall.
Mahalia reportedly wrote her first song at the age of 8 and signed a major record deal at the age of 13.
