The 21-year-old has had a hugely successful year.
Loughborough College star, Thomas Young, has become a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to sport.
Tom Young, who is currently studying for a degree in Sports Coaching at the College, won a gold medal in the T38 100m event at the Tokyo Paralympics.
He was also crowned the British Male Para Athlete of the Year by Athletics Weekly.
On his Twitter account, Tom said: “I’m honoured to receive an MBE in the New Years Honours List. Thank you to everyone for supporting me on my journey. I cannot wait to continue contributing to para-sport & athletics in 2022.”
