Lucky street in Hinckley win £30,000 per house in Postcode Lottery

Hinckley is home to six hugely happy neighbours today.

The six lucky winners, each won a £30,000 cheque after winning the People's Postcode Lottery Street Prize. 

Among the winners was Jane, who was left stunned after learning of her huge win. 

She said: "I just couldn't believe it! I was just like, wowzers. It's just exciting, you never think it's going to happen to you."

The mum-of-three wants to spend her winnings on a brand new bathroom and a Mulberry handbag.

Jane shared the news with her family and her six grandchildren were over the moon with the news.

She said: "My kids can't believe it and my grandchildren are well excited. They kept singing that song - someone's knockin' at the door. I've told them all they can have some money each to just blow on whatever they want."

Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson, said: "I couldn't be happier for Jane and our other Hinckley winners today, I'm sure they'll be celebrating tonight! I hope they have fun with the cash and enjoy treating themselves, and their families, with the winnings."
