Police closed the motorway to deal with the incident.

Police closed the M69 on Saturday afternoon (14 May) after a van overturned.

Officers were called at around 1.25pm.

Traffic Update at 13:48. Due to an ongoing police incident, There are partial closures in place on the M69 between Junction 1 and 2, Northbound. Please seek alternative routes, updates to follow. Thank you for your patience.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was been taken to hospital.

The road was closed so that the vehicle could be recovered .
