Blood was spotted by onlookers in Forest Road.
Police are investigating the death of a man following an incident in Forest Road, Loughborough in the early hours of this morning (9th September).
Officers were called to a report of a man banging on a door in Forest Road and attended the scene.
Upon arrival, officers found a man with significant injuries. They believe he sustained them following causing damage at a shop in Devonshire Square.
The man died from his injuries on his was to hospital.
Police said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death and it is not being treated as suspicious.
Enquiries are now being progressed on behalf of HM Coroner.
