David Treddinick and 22 other local MPs have written to the Health Secretary over plans to stop children's heart surgery in Leicester.
Hinckley and Boswoth MP, David Treddinick, and 22 other East Midlands MPs have written to the Health Secretary about plans to stop children's heart surgery at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester.
A consultation in to the plans which ends on 17th July states that NHS England are concerned Glenfield will not meet new standards quickly enough and therefore should be downgraded to a Level Two centre.
NHS England says a decision will be announced at a public board meeting after the submissions in the consultation have been assessed.
