No Carnival for 2018 in Hinckley

Sadly the team behind last years successful event, which returned after a year off say they can't commit to another event.

They posted on the official Facebook page yesterday

"Firstly happy new year to you all !! 

It is with a heavy heart & sadness that we have to announce that we as a committee cannot commit to organising Hinckley Carnival this year . With increasing demands from the council & little support it is beyond our reach. We are thankful & grateful to all who supported us and helped us last year and we are proud of our achievements

Thank you Hinckley for 2017 ...... and we are hopeful that someone will save the carnival once again 🙏🏻🌟🎉
