Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle beforehand.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Kirkby Mallory yesterday evening (4 August).
The collision involving two vehicles took place just before 5.50 pm on Shilton Road, close to the junction with Leicester Road.
A passenger in a grey M140i BMW sustained serious injuries, she was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver in the same vehicle was taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire with life-threatening injuries – his condition has been described as critical.
The driver in the second vehicle, a silver Ford Kuga, sustained minor injuries, she was discharged after treatment. The passenger in that vehicle sustained a serious injury and he remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle beforehand. They would also urge anyone who was driving in the area yesterday evening to check if they captured any dashcam footage.
