The closure will impact people travelling for early morning flights.
National Highways are carrying out essential electrical work at the Finger Farm roundabout. This is the roundabout for Donington Moto Services.
From 8pm on Monday 11 November to 6am on Tuesday 19 November, excluding the weekend, the A453 between Pegasus Business Park and Finger Farm Roundabout will be closed.
Diversions will be in place.
A spokesperson for EMA said: “We’re aware of works scheduled to take place on the A453 near the airport that could impact customers travelling to catch early flights on weekdays from November 11th to 19th.
“We understand that while works are underway there will be no access to the airport for vehicles approaching from the roundabout near Donington Moto Services. A signed diversion will be in place and so we advise customers to allow extra time for their journeys.”
