The driver of a Peugeot car currently remains in hospital.
Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered serious injuries in a collision on the A47 Hinckley Road, Desford on Friday 15 October.
The incident, involved a black Peugeot car and a black Ford Focus car, at around 5.30pm outside The Bulls Head pub.
The driver of the Peugeot car, a woman in her 20s, was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries and currently remains in hospital.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw either of the vehicles beforehand to make contact.
Police Constable Liam Street said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are asking anyone with any information who has not yet spoken to us to get in touch.
“If you have any dashcam footage from the area at the time, please also check this and make contact with us.”
The driver of the Ford Focus car, a male in his 20s, also attended hospital following the incident and his injuries are not believed to be serious.
