The charges relate to an incident on Broom Leys Road back in March 2021.
Rhys Chan, 29 of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of cannabis.
He appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court on Monday 31 May and was remanded in custody.
The incident happened on Broom Leys Road in Coalville on March 13th.
32-year-old Levi Muttock of no fixed address had already been charged in connection with this incident.
