The new site is just over half a mile from the old branch.
The branch, formerly on Arbury Road, will now be located inside the Premier shop, on Heath End Road.
The shop could be adapted to fit the needs of Post Office customers, depending on how residents take to the new location.
A reopening date of Tuesday 22 June has been given.
Posters have been put up inside the Premier shop letting customers know of the change.
The Post Office said they are 'progressing with these plans' and are keen to restore the service as soon as possible.
They are welcoming suggestions about specific aspects of the change such as access arrangements and the internal layout.
