Teenager stabbed in Hinckley last night

A 17-year-old boy was 'assaulted with a bladed weapon' in Druid Street, Hinckley, yesterday evening (Monday 13 June).

Leicestershire Police are carrying out further enquiries and are asking that anyone with information gets in touch.

Officers were called to the area just after 6 pm.

The police have confirmed that the 'victim sustained a laceration to his arm and was taken to hospital for treatment'.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) and remains in police custody.
