It first opened its door to movie lovers 84 years ago.
Hinckley's iconic Danilo cinema, on the corner of Trinity Lane, has been put up for sale.
It was officially opened by film star Judy Kelly on the 26th of July 1937 before closing in 1993.
Since then it has been used as a sports bar.
The building has had a number of names over the years including The Essoldo, The Classic, The Cannon and MGM Cannon however it has always been affectionately known as The Danilo.
Paul Gardner, from Hinckley District Past & Present, said: "As the building has been empty for many years it quickly deteriorated with pigeons getting into the remaining auditorium upstairs. Then the weather started getting in and that really sealed its fate. Sadly it has been an eyesore on the corner of Trinity Lane for many years"
