Morning folks, we’re at the count in #Loughborough for the Leicestershire County Council elections.
— Charnwood Borough Council (@CharnwoodBC) May 7, 2021
Charnwood has 14 county divisions so we'll be counting votes for those divisions. Results will be posted on https://t.co/nJqC8tPGmr

Like many smaller elections, turnout is significantly lower than in a General Election.
NW Leicestershire have reported a turnout of just 34.52% for all elections in the area.
10:15: What happened overnight?
While the County counts will not have started properly until this morning, ballots will already have been tabulated and counts may have begun on smaller Parish elections and Neighbourhood planning referendums.
