A man and a woman from Doncaster were both charged in relation to an incident at the end of April.
Henry Gaskin, 53, and Carol Gaskin, 51, both of Lands End Road, Doncaster, have both been charged.
Henry is charged with attempted murder and Carol charged with assisting an offender.
They were remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court later today (Friday 6 May).
The charges relate to an incident on Thursday (29 April) when a man was found critically injured in Barlestone Road.
