A 20-year-old man has been charged with wounding following an incident in Rothley in April.
In a statement Leicestershire police said: "Curtis Price, of Bridgeland Road, Loughborough, has been charged with wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
"The charge relates to a report of a man being stabbed in an alleyway off Woodfield Drive on 25th April.
"Price has been bailed to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 23 September."
