Charnwood Police seize drugs with estimated value of nearly one million pounds

The Neighbourhood Patrol Officers discovered a business premises that had been turned into a cannabis grow .

In just two days last week, Charnwood Police seized an estimated value of nearly one million pounds worth of Class B drugs.

On the 10th of July, the Neighbourhood Patrol Officers discovered a business premises that had been turned into a cannabis grow worth an estimated £840,000.

One man was arrested from the property and has been charged and remanded.

The following day the Loughborough East Neighbourhood Team and Neighbourhood Patrol Officers went to a property that had been reported by the local community.

The value of cannabis found inside that property has been estimated to be in the region of £70,700.
