Loughborough Recycling and Household Waste Site (RHWS) re-opens ahead of schedule on Monday, 10th December.
This follows essential maintenance work at the Railway Terrace location and adjacent waste transfer site
The site is open from 9am to 4pm, five days a week, with the location closed on Thursdays and Fridays.
We would like to thank members of the public for their patience during the closure. We wanted to ensure the work was done ahead of the busy Christmas period and that’s been achieved and the site is re-opening ahead of schedule.
Person:Blake Pain, county council cabinet member for environment and transport
The re-opening of the Loughborough site means that the nearby Mountsorrel site, which had been open seven days a week, will now revert to its normal winter opening hours and will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from next week (December 11 and 12).
