Man who was stabbed in Blaby in a 'serious' condition

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the incident on Saturday.

Detectives are appealing for public help after a 36-year-old man was assaulted in Blaby during the early hours of Saturday morning.

The victim was involved in an altercation inside the Bulls Head Pub on Lutterworth Road at around 1.15 am which resulted in him being stabbed in the stomach.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A statement from Leicestershire Police said: "A number of people were in the area at the time, including motorists who drove by during the incident.

"Anyone who has filmed the incident on their telephones or captured any footage on video recording equipment in their vehicles is asked to get in touch."
