There was a conservatory on fire and it was spreading to neighbouring properties.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue have expressed gratitude to firefighters after a fire in Nuneaton on the 1st of April.
They were alerted at approximately 18:00 on 1 April to reports of a conservatory on fire at the rear of a property on Vale View in Nuneaton.
Seven appliances and numerous specialist resources were in attendance.
They found a conservatory well alight and discovered the fire was spreading to neighbouring properties.
Crews were at the scene until the early hours damping down the fire and checking for hot spots.
West Midlands Ambulance Service treated a number of people for smoke inhalation.
Chief Fire Officer, Ben Brook said, “Our crews, with support from appliances across the county, worked effectively to bring the incident under control. We are relieved to confirm that all people involved are safe and well.
"I want to express my gratitude to our firefighters who worked tirelessly at the scene, and to our colleagues from West Midlands Fire Service, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Warwickshire Police for their swift and coordinated response.
"We extend our sincere gratitude to the Stockingford Community Centre and the wider Nuneaton community for their incredible kindness and support. Their collective efforts demonstrate just how valuable community spirit is.”
